Last Tuesday Grandma Faye Meshkes body was laid to rest in the cemetery on the West Wapato Road at the Reservation Cemetery, it will lay there until the Lord sounds the trumpet. Then at the resurrected her new body will be reunited with the Soul and Spirit to be with the Lord for eternity. I hope and trust that all who are reading this story of God Hands Out Stretched Still, will experience the blessedness of obeying the Lord here on planet earth. There is going to be a meeting in the air and a Judgment for works done, and I trust you will have fruit to show as testimony of Gods mercy and grace upon your life. This happens when we accept His out stretched hands and do the work of a evangelist which we all are. God has not and will not change His plan of Salvation. As a family we knew that Grandma knew the Lord and did her best to serve Him. What are we doing with Jesus our Lord and savior?

As we look at Genesis chapter 4 it gives us the picture of the importance of Adams name; dirt and Eves name; life. For Adam knew his wife and conceived a boy and called him Cain, meaning possessions. Have you heard the phrase, he or she is raising Cain. Now Cain was a tiller of the ground just as God had ordained. Then Adam and Eve had another child by the name of Abel; signifying vanity, he was a shepherd. Now all were doing what was required by the Lord, as God laid out in the garden of Paradise.

This was a week we will never forget as a family for Our Son Brian had hip replacement Monday after months of pain. Then Ginny’s mother passed away Tuesday as Dale her son and Mary Ruth his wife, Julia Palmer a daughter, Jan and Don Kearby another daughter, Jerral and Ginny another daughter along with Jerral and Ginny’s daughter in law Gayleen were all present at Moms passing away.

The family was all present for 2 hrs before Grandma took her last breath, as the Nurse by her side took the pulse, which was still present, then another 5 min. the Nurse was called in again and he could not detect the heart pulse, so he removed the air going to the nostril. It is good to know that death has lost its sting, 1 Cor 15:54-55 (NKJV) "Death is swallowed up in victory." ⁵⁵ "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?"^[ As grandma was breathing she rolled back her eyes, as they were wide open, looking at something we could not see. I imagine Her soul and spirit where looking to the Lord whose hands were out stretched to her and soon the heart in the body stop beating, the body was now dead, to be buried in the ground this next Tuesday the 26^th of September, only to be raised to join the soul and spirit in heaven at the resurrection.

What a time of rejoicing, as Dale her son said to his sisters, Mom is at peace!  We all rejoiced as a family knowing that now, she was in the presence of the Lord. For the past 4 years she was not able to communicate what was going on because of dementia, but now she is a total person in the Arms of the Lord who’s hands where out stretched to her, as they are to anyone in the World. As a family we experienced the joy of knowing that the Lord’s Hands are out stretched to us, regardless of the circumstance. We experienced what it is like to abide in the vine becoming like Christ, just as they did in the very beginning of time.

²² And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. ²⁴ So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Here we have the most profound statement as God said, the man is become one of us, to know good and evil. Does anyone have to tell you you’re doing something wrong? No! God has built into everyone the ability to understand what it is like to suffer wrong. Wrong always has a consequences of shame and wanting to hid.  Satan wants mankind to think they can do no wrong, but allows us to see the consequences of our evil deeds and ways as something good. God has a way, for He is the truth and the life that brings peace and freedom from evil. We are not robots, but have the ability to choose and I want to choose the Lords hands to lead me and guide me into His blessings. Man had to prove himself, for we are created to perform either Gods will, or Satan will. So he had to remove them from the Garden of Eden.
