Violence Part 1

We are living in a world of violence and terror and it is very important to understand what causes us to become angry and violent.

It is very normal to become angry but what do we do with that anger?

We many times think we have a right to become violent, but as we look at the REASONS FOR VIOLENCE what do we really see? Here is one of the courses I teach at the Restitution Center with using the Bible as a text book. But note how basic this teaching is and how it can be used to correct any lack of conscience we need to have freedom in our world today. We should never forget, it is not my truth, but Gods truth that give us the victory again and again over our tendencey for violence.

Violence. It's the act of purposefully hurting someone. And it's a major issue facing today's young adults. One in 12 high schoolers is threatened or injured with a weapon each year. If you're between the ages of 12 and 24, you face the highest risk of being the victim of violence.

At the same time, statistics show that by the early 1990's the incidence of violence caused by young people reached unparalleled levels in American society.

There is no single explanation for the overall rise in youth violence. Many different factors cause violent behavior. The more these factors are present in your life, the more likely you are to commit an act of violence.

Separating of Church and State is nothing new, how we handle it is most important. We are The United States of America, a place where all types of people choose to live, from all backgrounds and every race, tongue and tribe, plus religious belief. Being a part of this United States of America for the past 68 years, Im grateful for what has taken place in our history, that has allowed us to be the greatest land, upon the face of the World. It has not been without a great price. Many have given their lives for the freedoms we all enjoy, and we are still out to make sure, we are not destroyed in any areas that we as a Nation stand for.

My Father the Husbandmen Part 3

When we consider the price it takes to abide in the vine we understand it is not something to be taken lightly. All that we are, rests upon whom do we believe in? Everyone believes in someone, or thing. Joshua said, as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. They that worship God must worship him in Spirit and in truth; that is accepting by faith the one that created us. God gave us His Son as a sacrifice in order that we might be free to abide in the Vine from which comes our strength. Notice the word if and how many times it is used in this 15 chapter of John  6, 10, 18, 19, 20, 22 and 24.  If is a proposition based upon a premise that must be seen in order to receive the benefits of abiding, so we do not have to suffer the consequences of sin.
