Prayer needs to be ongoing if we are going to be what God wants us to be, for it is the heart of our lives, keeping us alive in Christ. Prayer is like the meat of the apple, the pulp of the tree, and the cell line to heaven.

PRAYER Prayer is written about and talked about more than most words. You can buy books on, “How to pray”, “Understanding the Purpose and Power of Prayer”, “Prayer changes things”. and the list goes on. When we look at how people pray around the world, one sees the different styles, procedures, habits, and types of Prayer.

Chaplains are real people who represent God in all facts of life. As it has been said, our greatest gift is presence. When we go into the jails and prisons, we take the presence of the Lord with us. It is not I, but Christ that lives within us, that give us, the power to say and do, what the Lord would want us to do. Our job is not to be Jesus, but to represent Him as the King and the Lord of all. We are all ambassador for Christ and what we say and do, affects those that are around us. 2 Cor. 5:20.
