²⁹ “Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. Men and Brethren, we have the power to reason; God who loves us wants us to trust and obey, so we can find peace and satisfaction of being in His family as we abide in Him. ³⁰ Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, ^[i]according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne. Here David and Jesus where prophets knowing the power of a prophet and the oath they took was important and to be able to see persecution and acquisitions’ of falsehood caused Him to stand tall as a person seated at the right hand of the Lord to intercede for us.  ³¹ he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. His soul went to hades to take upon Himself the sins of the whole world, but rose victories after three days.  ³² This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. Yes even today the Church knows Jesus is not dead, but alive, convicting people of sin that will destroy them if not dealt with.  ³³ Therefore being exalted ^[j]to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear. God when He is exalted gives us more than anything the world can give to empower us for service in the Kingdom of God. God was going to perform a divine promise he made much earlier. Luke 11:13; If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

Matthew 7: ¹¹ If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father : who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

 

^{Acts 2:34} “For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself:

‘The Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at My right hand,
³⁵ Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” ’

³⁶ “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” Let everyone know assuredly this truth has now received its full confirmation and we are to publish it. God is alive and what to use his tongue to empower us for service in His Kingdom of Earth. Not proposed as probable, but proposed as absolutely certain. God glorified Him whom they crucified. This aggravates their wickedness they did to Jesus. Yet still today Jesus is both Lord and Christ and is here now going to give them the third part of the trinity the Holy Spirit to give them unction or power to speak the truth Jesus is alive.

³⁷ Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Those who heard this new gospel were now questioning what should they do? What are we asking as people is very important for we are not asking as a Church for more freedom so we can do what we want; No, what does God want us to do? In order to do it we need a motivation, a purpose, a reason, or a ministry to give them the empowerment needed for such a task as going into all the world and preaching the Gospel; Jesus saves not us as people but God as the creator of all. Remember just a few day back they all fled and where in hiding until the Lord appeared to them for 40 day that revolutionized their lives. Here they are again confronted with something that was totally amazing. Here Peter had told them they had a hand in His death and are not mad, but thinking not of imagination times the vividness they witnessed, but the reality of who God is and what he is able to do. They were pricked in their hearts, cut in their hearts, know they were part of the problem. Their hearts are now awakened and their conscience touched by the Spirit of God. The word was piercing their minds heart.  They were certainly sinners, undone and feeling uneasy as their hearts are rent. A prick in the heart is mortal, and under a commotion of death, dying. This is what happens many times to people in jail as I was teaching life skills and seeing men and women cry as they heard and saw what the truth is able to do in setting them free of what sin has done to them. Here they are men and brethren gathered here showing honor and appreciation to Peter as Peter looks at them with the love of the Lord. As a preacher of the Gospel and as minister we are looked at as spiritual physicians and need to be led by the Lord to give hope, faith and love, not condemnation. There is no way people are happy in themselves regardless of how successful they become. Many People are lost and blinded by success and blind for they do not want to do what is right, but bent on destroying others and enjoying it. So here they are looking forward to what can I do to escape this misery. Those that are convicted of sin are soon glad for peace and pardon. 

³⁸ Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the ^[k]remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Sinners need to be convinced they are wrong or they are sinners but need to be encourage to stop and turn to the Lord for assurance of the chains being off. They are no long bound up or addicted but sent free to say no to sexual activities our side of marriage, no to drug and alcohol. No to gambling, no to lying and cheating, No to serving other God. Repenting is accepting a new way, truth and life that bring goodwill and peace to all. Put away the guilt of crucifying the Lord so your other sins can be forgiven as will. Repent, is to change you mind, your ways, your bend so you pure and holy becoming more and more like the Lord. Be Baptized every one of you is a new doctrine of Christ for the Church. Renounce your infidelity as being lost and accept forgiveness is impressed on all who come to the Lord. 11:15 That is those who repent and believe are welcomed to be baptized.  This is accepting God grace. Israel was baptized unto Moses in the camp when they passed through the cloud and the sea 1 Corinthians 10:1,2 now it is personally Colossians 1:28. All this give assurance of remission of sins, repent. And not be ruined but be baptized. And this is the truth that justifies us in Christ as never sinning.  You’re a candidate to receive the Holy Spirit as well for it seals the truth of the Gospel, you can be full of the Holy Spirit to become justified and Sanctified. It not only for you, but your children. In the Old Testament the Son was circumcised at eight years of age and it seems that people that accept the Lord are able to think and have the ability to choose what is good and right. That is the reason we do not baptize infants for they do not understand yet. Remember it is the Lord that calls us to Himself.

³⁹ For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” Thank the Lord He knew what man needed in order to establish the Church on a firm foundation.

 

 

 

A Vital Church Grows

⁴⁰ And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this ^[l]perverse generation.” Thank the Lord for the many words the Lord gave us all in His Bible so that we do not have to sin. The worse our world becomes the more important our salvation becomes to prevent rebelliousness. It is necessary we dwell among people that are evil and yet nor to be apart of their lives. We are going up stream as we repent and accept all God has in store for us. We are a part of the world but not involved in the sins of the world as God now rules and reigns. ⁴¹ Then those who ^[m]gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. Thank the Lord for the gift of life as we accept the Lord as personal savior. We are seeing today people that are suffering from persecution are coming to the Lord for it is the Lord that blesses those that have no money but have a personal relationship with the Lord. Here we see 3 thousand become a part of this new Church. It is one thing to hear the word and another to receive the word and allow it to change our hearts desire! The Holy Spirit had their tongue working. This was great than feeding the three or four Thousand for now they are growing over night

 ⁴² And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ ^[n]doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Here we are seeing the beginning of the Church in its infancy as now becoming innocencet  as they keep the Holy ordinances. They gather together as apostles or follower of the Lord no long hiding in fear but out in the open to be seen of all. They are diligent and constant in fellowshipping together in one accord. They were being taught and accepted not forsaking the house of God by being disciplined to attend. Are we not only hearers of the world but doers of the word. We gather in the house of the Lord not forsaking it. They were intimate with one another they were like bird of a feather gather together. Concerned with one another sympathizing with one another in a religious reverent way. Not only on the Sabbath day but any time they could get together to worship which is work. They were all in one accord in holy love for one another.  Breaking of bread was common and needed as they could now rejoice that Jesus was very much alive! ⁴³ Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. Then fear came upon every soul for they know now never again where they going to be without a savior. Their faith in God was able to see the hand of the Lord at work doing many wonderful thing and seeing signs of healing and people getting saved. ⁴⁴ Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, ⁴⁵ and ^[o]sold their possessions and goods, and divided^[p] them among all, as anyone had need. We can't imagine what God can do if we were all in one accord and had everything in common. What is yours is also mine and we are interested in making sure whatever was done was for the benefit of mankind. This allowed them to sell their goods and possessions they had in common to help those in need. The Mormons do a great job in supporting one another within the Church but here they are helping tol support people that needed help. It is amazing how Christian are improving the life of those in emergency like flooding, or people in Forest fires, or tornados, earthquake and any other emergency. Church organization like Convoy of Hope Samaritan Purse and many Denominations have department that are interested in helping other through crises. Many of our hospitals we started by religious organization as well as collages. So the Christ World is still reaching out to help other, Union Gospel Missions, Teen Challenge, the Dream Center in LA now spread around the world are ministering to those down and out. Remember Jesus told the rich man to sell all he had and give it to the poor and he did not. Lord help us as a church to do all e can to help one another I our Church and community.

 

⁴⁶ So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, ⁴⁷ praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added ^[q]to the church daily those who were being saved.

It is amazing the Lord said the poor we always have with us and it is many times caused by too high a price for Homes, rent food and other things. It is in our own power according to Acts 5:4 God wants us as a Church to do all we can to help people have the ability to live in a way that is a blessing to all and today with homelessness abounding in many cities we are see shame that does not allow us to get better but become bitter and bitter that is killing many people. 

Lord help us to see people willing to work in the Kingdom of God so we can have a greater impact in our area. We have Scared Roads that is doing a great job bring people in and people in the Area coming to their church they are able to minister to many of the families in our area, They have college and adults that come to stay with then to cut wood, build facilities, paint building, repair building, cut wood and prepare for winters cold. So I say thank the Lord for their vision and we are excited for Crossroads and what they are wanting to do to help us minister to our area. Thank the Lord for people that are wanting to become a part of us to minister to all as well in or area.
