43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon. The Tabernacle of Moloch was a barbarously offering up of Children, that bought great grief to themselves and their families. Look at the amount of people that worship the Sun, moon and stars in our world that have no power of healing of the body, soul and spirit, so people still continue to defy God and do whatever they want to and feel the universe is ok with that; for the simple fact they can control us, but Satan uses all kinds of idols of man to dictate to man to make them accept a lie. Astrology is captivating even in Isaiah’s time Isaiah 47:But these two things shall come to you In a moment, in one day:
The loss of children, and widowhood. They shall come upon you in their fullness Because of the multitude of your sorceries, For the great abundance of your enchantments.
The loss of children, and widowhood. They shall come upon you in their fullness Because of the multitude of your sorceries, For the great abundance of your enchantments.
10 “For you have trusted in your wickedness; You have said, ‘No one sees me’; Your wisdom and your knowledge have [b]warped you; And you have said in your heart,
‘I am, and there is no one else besides me.’ 11 Therefore evil shall come upon you; You shall not know from where it arises. And trouble shall fall upon you; You will not be able [
‘I am, and there is no one else besides me.’ 11 Therefore evil shall come upon you; You shall not know from where it arises. And trouble shall fall upon you; You will not be able [c]to put it off. And desolation shall come upon you suddenly, Which you shall not know. 12 “Stand now with your enchantments, And the multitude of your sorceries, In which you have labored from your youth—
Perhaps you will be able to profit, Perhaps you will prevail.
Perhaps you will be able to profit, Perhaps you will prevail.
13 You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels; Let now the[a] astrologers, the stargazers, And [b]the monthly prognosticators
Stand up and save you from what shall come upon you. This was real in the Old Testament as it is today and look at what happen to Daniel who was in prison because he did not obey the Kings commands as he did not defile himself with the Kings delicacies, so in Daniel 1:20 New King James Version (NKJV) we see Daniel and Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego grow
20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm. Then latter the King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream and no one could interpret it but Daniel
Daniel 2:27 New King James Version (NKJV)
27 Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, “The secret which the king has demanded, the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, and the soothsayers cannot declare to the king.      They were sent to the Fiery death in the Furnace but God protected them.
Daniel 5:7 New King James Version (NKJV) ShowsNebuchadnezzar’s Second Dream The king cried [a]aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers. The king spoke, saying to the wise men of Babylon, “Whoever reads this writing, and tells me its interpretation, shall be clothed with purple and have a chain of gold around his neck; and he shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.” Lord help us see it is not what we think, but what You are able to do that makes a difference.
44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen. Here Gods people where worshipped at the altars they had at the entrance of their tents in the open air. Lord help us to realize if our Church is burned down we can still worship You where we are. We are seeing the reason for God letting them build a tabernacle, a holy place that was moveable, showing it was to be short lived. It was a honor to Gods presence, as a witness of faith for good things to come. Which Jesus fulfilled as He lived among us and the Synagogue dwelt among us, that soon after His death and resurrection we could dwell in His Church, He established for us to enter in with all our worries and mental problems.
45 Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David; Joshua which in Greek is Jesus, who bought in the new Tabernacle, that lasted till the time of David when his Son Solomon was chosen to Build the Tabernacle.
46 Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob. Thank the Lord for those who have found favor with the Lord to continue to build the house of the Lord. As David wrote the Psalms, he is seen as worshiping the Lord, reverencing the Lord, having faith and hope in the Lord, to answer his prayers. This world is Gods temple where He is always present and filling it with His glory, love, mercy and grace. No one can make a Temple, for Only Gods hands are pure and holy capable to make it pure and holy. Look at the Churches that are made and you see thousands of dollars, many times the best building in the cities of our world. Splendor of man, but the splendor of the Holy Spirit is not present many time in them.
47 But Solomon built him an house. Solomon who was not a warrior but one ordered by God, like Noah building the Ark according to the Lord plans, not theirs. Notice the houses that are built for Idols and how elaborate they are.  Buddha, Muslims, Shinto, Scientology, New Age JC Mckinght, Hinduism, Jainism, Robigo Roman god, mars god, Greek god, Jupiter, Zeus, Juno Hera, Ares, Mercery, Hermes, Venus Aphrodite, Cybele, Astrology, Fatalism No personal responsibility, Horoscopes, Precession sun turning backward and wobbling, Exclusivity doing something to make themselves look different, these are all taken from Roman Cults and worship that are affecting us, even to day as we neglect the Temple of the Holy Spirit that was Gods idea for provision, protection, place of worship to reverence and have faith and hope in God to answer our prayers according to His will, not ours.

48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, Thank the Lord, He is the only one that can claim a right to all He created. He is still the way, truth and life we seek to become like. We are connected to God, by His Spirit and that is scary, but thank the Lord when we do, God gives us the assurance we are His and He is ours.
49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest? Heaven is a place where we can relax, regardless of what is going on, for Jesus is able to see us through what we are going through regardless of what that is. I thank the Lord for the assurance, I am achieving my potential in the Lord, so I can relax and be glad, for what is happening in our life even at 83 years of age. Has not God created all we see in nature and in our universe that He gave us to tend. Look at how we take care of our world without thinking of the price?
50 Hath not my hand made all these things? What a question that is coming not from man, but from God. Man can only create what God has placed here. He took noting and made it something. Man takes something God created and makes in usable. We have seen radio, go to TV, Telephone go to I phone, Dictionary or to Google, Stores go to Amazon, Horses and buggies to Cars and airplanes, varieties in everything to where life is puzzling. Our needs to wants, and who know what is going to happen next. But the Sun, Moon, Stars, Galaxites, Ocean and World stays in place.
51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. Here Stephen is totally taken up with the mighty power of God as he calls, those questioning him as stiff-necked. This is a very sharp rebuke exposing their attitude and behavior. So all that Stephen is sharing with them falls on deaf ears. It is so hard to stick our necks in to the Yoke of what the Lord has given us. We do not like the discipline of being obedient, but free to do whatever we want. A stiff-necked person is a bull-headed person or hard-hearted person that can’t accept reality of being a sinner needing help. Lord help us to know the power of the Holy Spirit, so our flesh sees it weaknesses of putting off the lust of the flesh. When we worship, reverence, have faith and hope in God, we pray to be able to resist Satan desires and flee from evil; my will to His will be done. 52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers: These prophet observed the law, but did not practice it. They would not yield to the Holy Spirit of God. But you killed the Just Son of God.
53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it. The Law was given by angles and yet you were not able to believe. Stephen is very emotional for he is being guided by the Holy Spirts leading to convict them.
54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. Here is hell in its fire and darkness, and heaven in its light. They were convicted, but turn against Gods will and mad at Stephen they became so indignant the really cut him to pieces and gnasked on him with their teeth.  Gnashing with the teeth is often used to express the horror and torments of the damned.  Corruption is powerful they, had malice not perfection. Hell itself broke lose men became like devils, and the serpents seed spitting out venom. Enmity at the saints turn men into brute beast. Yet Stephen is still giving them how he feels.
56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. The Spirit of the Lord was upon Stephen and he speaks forth with the Assurance God is present and nothing is going to move him to anger, but more love. Here they are going to kill him, but he is looking up to God his creator while his martyrs looked on. He showed Christ’s graciousness and was chewing upon the riches of God grace love and mercy. It was not the persecutors who laughed at Him, but Christ he focused on. Here He saw God standing not setting, but watching with intent one of His saints being tormented. It was for God glory he was able to endure as he was endued with God Spirit, Father forgive them they do not know what they are doing. Whenever the Spirit of grace dwells, and works and reigns, He directs our souls upward. If we expect to hear from heaven we need to look up to God. He saw the glory of God with heaven’s door open. He was going to a place of totally happiness and calm of beauty. Lord help us to tell what we see for your grace, mercy is with us all the time encouraging and empowering us to stay connected.
57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, Here, they lose their anger and cry out with a loud voice as they stop their ears from hearing Stephen and run to him.
58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul. Anger is our best weapon when it is controlled, but here they are out of control and do not care how they treat Stephen. Here Stephen is still praying, but they are controlled by anger and hate and as they don’t want any restrictions, they take off their coats and garments that hinder the work at had and give them to Saul who is watching with great content for he was bent on persecuting the Saints as will.
59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. Here Stephen is calling upon God; Lord Jesus receive my Spirit. Our spirits is the biggest part of our lives, for thats where our five sense reside, worship, reverence, faith, hope and prayer abiding in Him, then our souls imagination, conscience, memory, reason and affection join with our bodies eyes, ear, nose, mouth and fleeing to keep us alive, as we are abiding in the vine; Jesus to produce goodwill and peace.
60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep. Note he kneels down, showing honor and the cries with a Loud voice for he wanted his enemies to here yet his hearts cry to his personal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Lay this not upon them and their sins. Do we have the ability to pray for our enemies so they can accept the fact they are loved? Remember Saul was there and Stephen wanted him to hear his prayer maybe. What a display of the glory of God as he fell asleep praying for his persecutors. He died with the Love of God and his love for people who needed to know Gods love mercy and grace. Stephen died to be resurrected in the presence of the Lord. Lord help us to see you glory now in your creation, that we can work at making sure all is taken care of the best we can and we know who we are, where we are at all times.
Blessing to you as you enter this Christmas season receiving the best gift known to man, the Lord Jesus Christ who forgive and forget as we call out to Him for help, we can’t, but He certainly can empower us for working in the Kingdom of God!
