Romans 10 New King James Version (NKJV)
Romans 10 is showing the need for the dissolving of the ceremonial laws, abolishing of the Priesthood and the burning of the temple bring about a world wide catholic church- state. Catholic means world wide Church that knows the Lord Jesus Christ as the priest, not a man but Divine Lamb of God. The Jews where not the only ones favored by God, but now the Gentiles. So Paul is trying to prove the reason for God including all, not just the Jews into the family of God as the Jews rejected Him. So he is showing two great truths.
1. There is a difference between the righteousness of the law which they were wedded to, and the righteousness of faith offered in the Bible. Romans 10:1-11
2. There is a difference between Jews and Gentiles they both have need of being justified by faith to be on the same level. God is not a respecter of persons, He loves the world, but do we love Him is the question of the ages. Romans 5:12-21
Israel Needs the Gospel
10 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for [a]Israel is that they may be saved. This is Paul desire to see all the Jews accept the Lord, so they do not have to suffer from the judgement of Gods wrath to come. God does not want any to perish with the wages of sin, for it is death and that is hells torment. He wanted all to have salvation and that was his prayer. What does your soul cry out for? Is it not for Jesus to have His control, so we can become over comers of the sins that want to destroy us. That is the reason we need to pray for souls to be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. The Jews where the bitter enemy of Paul and also against the Lord. The Lord wants us to love people by our words and deeds, or actions, attitude and behavior.  Zeal is a word used to someone that has a mission, or opinion according to the knowledge of being good, so the Lord is magnified. Here we see they had a zeal, but not according to knowledge of this new way of worship, reverencing, having faith and hope in God to answer their prayers. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. Ignorance is not being able to accept the truth of justification by faith, to become righteous and holy. It Is very difficult for us to submit to Gods will for we want to control ourselves in every area of life. As a follower of the Lord we abide, submit ourselves to abiding in the vine; Jesus, so we can be productive in bearing fruit that is good in every area of our lives. Our conscience is alive and sensitive to wrong and we confess, our imagination being alive to the truth and want to keep on accepting and doing what is pleasing to God. Our memories are aware of the cost of evil doing and we understand the reason for the turmoil and want to correct the wrongs in or lives, as we now have fellowship with the Lord that is the bases for our affection, so our soul are uplifted as we abide in the Vine; Jesus .
There is a cause for unbelief Ignorance of God’s righteousness that is strict justice, for sin is going to have consequence we suffer from. Then we are proud and conceited in what we do as being ok, for we are not responsible to any one and are free to do what we want. Righteousness is not what we were born with, it is something that has to be taught and the Holy Spirit within us teaches us if we are able to listen to the still small voice of God
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. The law was designed to lead people to Christ, but it was not working as God wanted it to, so He gave His Son Jesus to live in the flesh like any new born baby. He showed Himself a healer, provider, protector of life and allowed people to be born again in the spirit of God. No longer a animal sacrifice, but now a human sacrifice of your putting yourself into the arms of the Lord to deal with your sin nature, to make you holy an pure before God and man. So, Christ is the end of the moral law of the Old Testament and became what the law could not do. That is Jesus death gave us life so we could obey His word as He empowered us for service. Are you interested in the satisfaction from the Lords table, or are you looking for what you do, or a job to bring satisfaction? It will never come for it is trust and believing the Lord that gives one the peace of mind who he is and where he is and where he is going!

For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.”
Lev. 18:5 says You shall therefore keep my statues and my judgements, which if a man do, he shall live by them. Then Gal 3:12 the man that doeth them, shall live in them. That is not only in the land of Canaan, but in heaven, which Canaan was a type. So in Christ we are becoming perfect like Christ as we abide in Him
But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down from above)  When you read Deuteronomy 30 you see the Jews scattered for disobedience, and the future to obey and repent, the return, restoration national conversion, Judgement oppressors and national prosperity and then verses 11 to 14 The law is not hidden from them, but the word is neigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou must do it.  This is not at all hard or impossible to understand for we are on a highway to heaven, we are climbing Jacobs ladder of success, we can achieve our potential as we abide in the Lords loving arms.  We do not have to be in heaven for when we accept the Lord we are in the very presences of the Lord, becoming more and more like Him. We do not have to go deep to get the Lord out of the grave, He is alive and wants to live in you, as you accept Him as Lord and savior.  It is not hard to understand, just have faith and believe and you will become like Christ. or, “ ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).  See God does not need help, it is man in need of help, for He paid for the load of sin we want to carry and all we have to do is give it up, that is any sin any problem that makes you feel captive and addictive to. But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): Thank the Lord He is able to give us the faith to believe that nothing is impossible with God, He can take a nobody and make him, or her a somebody. that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Lord help our unbelief, may I know the reason I need to confess my faults, so I can confess before men I am a follower of the Lord. I am an Ambassador in the Kingdom of God. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. It is our minds are now in tune with our hearts cry, I need you Lord every moment of the day. My will of the soul is sincere and will cling to the old rugged cross, I will not turn lose for I know I can pull out of the Lords hands anytime I want, so Lord help me not to want to stop trusting and believing in your promises. It is by faith that justification and sanctification is possible with in our lives making us pure and holy. It is nothing we do, but what God is doing in our lives as Christians, that allows us to be the light the Lord wants us to be, to show others the way across the great divide.  11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” We get to confess with our mouth Jesus is Lord and then shame leaves for we take care of our bodies 5 senses; eyes, mouth nose, ears, and feelings. Our souls five senses of conscience, reason, memory, imagination and affection and our spirits five senses of faith, hope, worship, reverence and Prayer so we can be identified as a follower of Christ, a Disciple that is committed to obeying His word. It is sinful shame that makes people deny Christ. Then shame is used to embarrass us to want to change so we do not have to live in shame. Let’s not be ashamed of our faith in Christ for it is the power of our salvation. Thank the Lord God, He gave us a body that we need to take care of to rid ourselves of shame that ruins our lives with filth and degradation. To Be Continued
