Today we are seeing many who are in the news media giving information based upon their opinions, it is causing people to have differences of opinions and the truth is very hard to establish for the love of God is not demonstrated in them. If we are going to have the power needed to live this Christian life, we need to understand our faith is eternal. Matthew 25:38 - 45. 38 'When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 'Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' 40 "And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.' 41 "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 'for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 'I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.' 44 "Then they also will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?' 45 "Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.' 46 "And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life." In the Church today we are seeing many times large attendance, souls getting saved, but the people are not becoming grounded in the Word. One of the reasons I feel is we are not understanding life is eternal, either heaven or hell. John 6:27 says, "Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him." When we are sealed, not only do you now it, so do others. This seal is only broken when we do not honor it. Note John 10:25-30 (NKJV) and you see our responsibility to God. 25 Jesus answered them, "I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father's name, they bear witness of Me. 26 "But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. 27 "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 "My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. 30 "I and My Father are one." Paul confirms this in Romans 2: 6-13 6 who "will render to each one according to his deeds": 7 eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; 8 but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness--indignation and wrath, 9 tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; 10 but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11 For there is no partiality with God. 12 For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law. Are you beginning to see the importance of working out your own salvation with fear and trembling? Life is made up of many parts, values can be deprived, or enhanced, in relation to how we were raised, or experienced it. We were all born empty buckets, just as we learn with the computer, Garbage in Garbage out, so to it is with us growing up. We are not able to separate many time evil from good for they are the whole. So we need to look at what makes us live and enjoy life to the fullest, or we will live in frustration. What do we value as men and women? - Love Affection.
- Respect Honor
- Skill Work
- Enlightenment Able to learn.
- Influence (or Power) Make decisions.
- Wealth Able to barter and Buy.
- Well Being Mentally, Physical and Spiritual.
- Responsibility or Rectitude Accountability.
When we look at the eight things we value, we see what needs to be seen in the Spiritual sense if we are going to arrive at our maxim potential. Lets look at what we value a little closer. - Love and affection come from God who created us 1 John 3:1-3 (NKJV) 1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
Romans 6:16-17 (NKJV) 16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? 17 But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. Are you beginning to see the importance of your Spiritual life in The Lord, as your faith, hope, the one you pray to, worship and reverence is abiding in the Vine? For we are all Sinners according to Romans 3:23 and the wages of sin is death in Romans 6:23 but the gift of God is eternal life. Are you able to enter into that trust? Trust brings satisfaction, knowing its ok anyway. Its the strongest word that can be used in a marriage towards one another. Trust prevents jealousy from coming in and reining a relationship. Trust is confidence in a person regardless of how we might differ. |
