            LIFE CHANGING DIRECTIONS

We all have a physical life that is able to be seen called our bodies, with its five senses; ears, eyes, feeling or touch; smelling and taste. Within this same body we have the souls five senses; Imagination; conscience; memory; reason and affection. Then the most important part of our bodies is the Spirit and its five senses; Faith; hope; reverence; prayer and worship.

The body is called SOMA meaning carnal, or reprobation. We are born empty buckets not knowing anything, having to be taught what is right. No one has to be taught wrong, it is our natural instinct to lie and hid, or do anything wrong, for we do not know the truth and need to be taught the truth. The soul is our psyche it can’t be seen, but really felt and is very natural, with a lot of feelings and emotions with five senses; imagination, conscience, memory, reason and affection. The Spirit can’t be seen either, but can be felt and seen by what people do and say, it also has five senses; faith, hope, reverence, prayer and worship.

Who do we want to rule us? Man’s standard, or Gods standard? When God rules there is no force, of you have to, but want to. When Satan rules, we are forced to and that is the reason we see so many addicted to wrong.

Now lets look at our physical life according to truth, not truth as we know it, but how God sees it.

Life is Brief Gen 47: :7-10 (NKJV 7 Then Joseph brought in his father Jacob and set him before Pharaoh; and Jacob blessed Pharaoh. 8 Pharaoh said to Jacob, "How old are you?" 9 And Jacob said to Pharaoh, "The days of the years of my pilgrimage are one hundred and thirty years; few and evil have been the days of the years of my life, and they have not attained to the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage." 10 So Jacob blessed Pharaoh, and went out from before Pharaoh

Life is like a shadow  1 Chronicles 29:15 (NKJV) 15 For we are aliens and pilgrims before You, As were all our fathers; Our days on earth are as a shadow, And without hope.

Life is like a flying shuttle Job 7:6 (NKJV)  6 "My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle, And are spent without hope.

Life is like a hurrying messenger Job 9:25 "Now my days are swifter than a runner;
They flee away, they see no good.

Life is Only a hand breath in extent Psalms 39:4-5 "LORD, make me to know my end, And what is the measure of my days, That I may know how frail I am.
5 Indeed, You have made my days as handbreadths,
And my age is as nothing before You;
Certainly every man at his best state is but vapor. Selah

The brother of Jesus, James says, life is like a Vanishing vapor as well in James 4:13-14 13 Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit"; 14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. 15 Instead you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that."

So one begins to see how important everything we do, needs to be done for the glory of the Lord our creator, or some one is going to suffer in this life and the life to come. We are all here for one purpose and that is to be tested and tried, rather we are like Christ, or like Satan, doing our thing.

Note everyone is tested by the Lord in his body soul and spirit every single moment of the day. Note what Kind David said in Psalms 17:1-3 (NKJV) 1 Hear a just cause, O LORD, Attend to my cry; Give ear to my prayer which is not from deceitful lips.
2
 Let my vindication come from Your presence; Let Your eyes look on the things that are upright.
3
 You have tested my heart; You have visited me in the night;
You have tried me and have found nothing;
I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

Life is a refining process according to Zechariah 13:7-9 as we see the Shepherd 0f our lives become the Savior Jesus as the one refining us.  7 "Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, Against the Man who is My Companion,"  Says the LORD of hosts.
"Strike the Shepherd, And the sheep will be scattered; Then I will turn My hand against the little ones.
8 And it shall come to pass in all the land,"  Says the LORD, "That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, But one- third shall be left in it:
9 I will bring the one-third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined,
And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them.
I will say, 'This is My people'; And each one will say, 'The LORD is my God.' "

He wants us to go through the storms of life as we build upon the solid rock Christ Jesus. Luke 6 45-48  46 "But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do the things which I say? 47 "Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: 48 "He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. Today we are seeing more and more people building upon the sand and the foundation of the home is sinking as divorce is 64 % in the Church. Yes we are contemporary in every thing we seem to be doing, the old ways are condemned and we are told to dress freely, sing the modern songs that seem to have no meat. Even get rocky, to reach the rocks of life and we are getting heavy with condemnation. The Lord has not given us the spirit of condemnation, but of a sound mind, where by we can cry out Oh Lord Help! Any therapeutic Program has as the number one concern, or starting point, do you understand, you need help, to overcome your addiction. We are all addicted to sin of some kind, we need help!
